Have you had to show around a tourist?

Sometimes it is the tourist who winds up showing me around to places I have never been to because I always think I can check those places out some other time.

To get back on topic the last time I had to show some tourist around was over Christmas and New Years.

Where did you take people?

There wasn't much to see in Jersey so we hope on the Path to NYC to check out Rockefeller Center's Christmas tree and ice rink. Check the view of NYC from atop the Empire State Building. Did some shopping at Soho. A walking and eating tour of Chinatown and Little Italy (not too much walking because it was freezing).

I've never been to NYC in the winter, sounds good to look at, but also freezing...

It is freezing this time of the year in NYC. Best time would probably be spring when the weather starts to warm but then you have rain which could put a damper on any outdoor event.

I just spoke to a former New Yorker who said the same exact thing...
