Post Mexico Be Safe, Have Fun
As many of you know, there has been a lot of violence taking place along the U.S.-Mexico border. So, if you are planning a trip to Mexico for spring break this year or for any reason, check out this video on how to stay safe and have fun over there, from the folks at the United States Consulate in Merida:

Safe travels,

Where ever you travel you should use common sense and not assume being an American citizen you are able to get away with minor infractions.

So to sum up the video you should:
Use common sense.
Use the buddy system.
Remember it's not a theme park but a country with its own laws.
Don't over use alcohol or drugs.

Here is another link for more information for Spring Breakers, http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_t ... _2812.html.

Absolutely, you do not want to get tossed into a foreign prison.
