 Re: London Sites
Wow, there are tons of sites to visit in London. I haven't been there in a while, but to start with there are tons of museums. The London Eye is pretty new, the London Dungeons, London Zoo, House of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, Pickadilly Circus, all the stores on Oxford street...

 Re: London Sites
It just so happens I'm going to London in a few weeks! What shouldn't I miss?

St Stephen or better known as Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Changing of the Guard outside Buckingham Palace...

 Re: London Sites
The one place I don't particularly want to go is the London Eye; don't care for heights. My companions can go see that one without me, I'll be in the hotel watching the BBC and eating Jaffa cakes!

 Re: London Sites
I've heard that the London Eye isn't that popular and that it's possible that they will take it down because it costs to much...

 Re: London Sites
Yeah, none of us wanted to go on the London Eye. I'm not alone in my distaste for such things.

 Re: London Sites
The view might be good, I've heard it's a very slow ride though, so it might just get boring...

 Re: London Sites
I think each ride is half an hour, in an enclosed capsule with huge windows.
If you want to go see the changing of the guard, make sure you go an hour early because it will be mobbed. People hanging off the fence, etc. And they moved the Beefeaters guard houses inside the gates (because of an IRA bomb some years ago), so you can't taunt them anymore.

 Re: London Sites
I would say Big Ben and St Paul’s Cathedra always nice to experience and wonderful sites though.
