Post Costliest states to drive in
When it comes to driving this summer National Motorists Association (NMA) has come out with a report on which state will cost you the most. The ranking is based on 17 criteria such as traffic laws and regulation. So number one means if it's the costliest state to drive in.

I think its by tolls. New Jersey is absolute nightmare, the ezpass system never works and you can only make one appeal a year! so then they bill you and say you maxed out your appeals. lol whatta a joke. Most of the people can't be hassled so they end up just paying it. Its a private company too, the banks bid the state on running it. So basically a bank has a profit motive to bilk motorists for as much as they possibly can...

This is why I never got or use the E-Zpass. I would rather wait in line to give them my money.

I was in Edgewater Commons Mall last month and saw first hand why New Jersey is rank number one. At the mall the police blocked off all the entrances except the one in the middle and as vehicles enter the mall they were stopped and ticketed for not having a valid inspection sticker.
